In the years after The Great War, society moved in leaps and bounds, and the Roaring Twenties were born. In the wake of the war, life started to return to normal, there were great leaps in industrial growth, wide spread use of things like the telephone, automobiles, motion pictures, and electricity. There was also an increase in consumer demands and aspirations, which lead to lifestyle and cultural changes. Jazz music was becoming more popular, Art Deco peaked, and the “Flapper” redefined the modern woman. It was an era that saw great prosperity, but ended with the stock market crash of 1929.

Here is where I will explore the Roaring Twenties through fashion, as well as links to some of my favorite sites. Please enjoy!
