19th Century

This century, like the century before it, saw lots of political upheaval. This century also saw vast changes in womens’ fashion. It started with the easy flowing garments of the  Regency Era, moved through the Romantic Era to the wide hoops of the Antebellum Era and on to many, and some times excessive, stages of the Victorian Era. We know more about the fashions of this century by the numerious examples that have survived, in comparison to the centuries that came before. Here is where I will explore the 19th century fashions by making them.

Victorian Tipsy Tea Ensemble – This is a costume that was made for The Emerald Parlor’s 2nd Annual Ladies Tipsy Tea.

2011 EP Regency Picnic Dress – This is a wrap style Regency dress. I made this one for the 3rd Annual EP Regency Picnic.

2011 Regency  Girls’ Picnic Dress – This is a basic Regency style dress that I made for Annie to wear to the 3rd Annual EP Regency Picnic.
